Swedish Lace Scarf
Working on a Swedish Lace scarf. I've done a lot of sampling this year, so it is great to work on a project that I plan to finish and wear myself. It is almost 22 inches wide because I like to wear large scarves and fold them over.
It is usually recommended that Swedish Lace is woven in light colors, but I could not resist this Royal color and it is turning out beautiful. The warp and weft are both 8/2 Tencel by Mauriece Brassard and I am starting the second 8 ounce tube. The sett is 20 epi.
The pattern is from the green Davison book on page 94. It's the third treadling of the Traditional Lace Unit. This lace is a breeze to weave and I like the section of four next to the sections of three in the lace part (on the left in the top photo).
