Black Friday Stash

Happy December! I hope all of my US readers had a great Thanksgiving weekend! I am not a huge Thanksgiving fan or black Friday shopper, but this year I decided to take advantage of a sale at my local yarn shop, which runs all weekend so you don't have to be there at 2 am or anything crazy. This year, the sale was 20% off total purchases over $75.  As you can see, I went a little crazy with the sparkles.

From left to right, this is two skeins of Anzula Nebula, three skeins in different colors of Artyarns in Rhapsody Glitter light, one skein of Knit Collage Day Dreamer (ribbed hat pattern here) and Colinette Yarns in Jay at the top of the photo. I have to say that one of the things I am thankful for this year is all of the great people I have met through my local yarn shop. You know who you are and I am so glad that we met and have become friends outside of the yarn shop. It was with your encouragement (and the encouragement of my ever supportive husband) that I started Warp or Weft, which has been a really great experience. I am excited to share what I make with this yarn. Cheers for a happy holiday season to everyone who reads this blog!
