Summer 2017 Urban Craft Uprising Round Up
Last weekend we went to Urban Craft Uprising's Summer 2017 fair at the Seattle Center and I cleaned up in the shopping department. We always go to check out the vendors (I'm a bit of a craft fair addict), but I usually only buy one or two things. Not this time! There were so many cool vendors and they were all really nice people. I thought I would share the vendors we bought from in case you need gifts or like to shop the handmade scene. Here is a round up of my purchases:
Odd Fauna "on parade" - This is a 5.5" x 17" print on heavyweight archival 100% cotton rag paper, which is acid free and has a lovely smooth texture.
5 Lines Pottery Sponge Holder - This sponge holder is a great, one of a kind, affordable gift or a treat for yourself!
Mustard and Co Gift Set - Who doesn't love delicious mustard for sandwiches or dipping pretzels? Packaged in a cardboard tube, the gift set includes five 2.2 oz units of mustard jars: Classic, Honey Curry, Garlic Dill, Black Truffle, Smoky BBQ, or Golden Dijon.
Barrow PDX necklace - This is the necklace on the bottom left of the photo. It is the second piece that I've bought from Barrow. I also have a wonderful bracelet that I purchased at the Urban Craft Uprising two years ago. Rachel is super nice and I love wearing their ceramic pieces with gold accents, especially in the summer.
Urban Wood Studio Necklace - This pendant necklace is on the top right of the photo. It is a mix of wood and resin with a sterling silver chain. I love how the resin looks like sea glass and combined with the wood, it reminds me of beaches in the northwest.
woolpets needle felting kit - The selection of fiber arts goods was limited at this summer's Urban Craft Uprising, but the wool felting animal kits were SO adorable. It was a difficult decision and I ultimately purchased the pig felting kit. They offer a great selection of animals - giraffe, elephant, humming bird, fox and so many more. This is the perfect gift for any crafty person.
Devout David Bowie Doll - We couldn't resist buying this! She had plenty of other creations from sweet, plush baby dolls to other celebrities and two headed forest friends.
20 Leagues Pins and Magnet - How cute are these laser cut pins? I can't wait to put them on a jean jacket and wear them everywhere! They also have adorable dioramas, magnets, ornaments and stickers.
Popbyts Planter Cozy - I loved everything in the Popbyts booth. There were so many great block prints and items for the home. I settled on this planter cozy, which fits a small house plant.
These are my actual purchases. There are no affiliate links in this post and no one offered me anything to write this. I like supporting other crafts people and I find it refreshing to see what products people actually like; not only the ones they receive money for advertising.
